Brief Bio
In 2016, I founded AQUMON, a financial technology company, and currently serve as its Chief Scientist. I lead the development of a research and investment platform powered by mathematical models and machine learning, delivering wealth management solutions for portfolio construction, performance analytics, and risk control. I have trained and mentored over 100 algorithm scientists and engineers. Our proprietary technologies have been deployed by more than 50 leading financial institutions across Asia.
Prior to founding AQUMON, I held visiting and teaching positions in the Departments of Mathematics at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Imperial College London, and City University of Hong Kong. My academic research focused on probability theory, stochastic optimal control, and financial engineering. I have published several first-author peer-reviewed articles in top-tier journals in financial mathematics and presented at international academic conferences.
I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2014. Before my doctoral studies, I worked as a Structurer / Quant at DBS Bank.
Before moving to Hong Kong, I served in the Republic of China Army on Dongyin Island, Matsu, Taiwan, where I was part of an anti-armor assault unit during my compulsory military service.The Value I Bring
